Week 17

The past couple cool mornings have really felt autumn like.  We had the treat of seeing a couple river otters in our pond this past weekend. There is also a great white egret keeping the blue herons company and yesterday we saw some greater white fronted geese on the Chehalis. . I am not an avid birder but I do love seeing the different birds come through this time of year.  It is a reminder that fall is well underway.

Week 13

September, one of my favorite months on the farm, starts off with all the familiarity of August and ends with winter squash harvest and a little relaxation.  

We have a bangin box for you this week!  It is full of many of my favorites.
